Redwah collaborated with the team at RWC to provide an interior design concept for RWC Healthmates Gym. Healthmates is a large-scale gym located within the Revesby Workers Club, and the owners sought to improve functionality for members while also attracting new clients. While the gym refurbishment did not ultimately come to fruition, redwah provided two design concepts for the proposed upgrade.

​The club’s commitment to its members is what drove them to seek the gym refurbishment proposal. With their varied and loyal clientele, Healthmates have always endeavoured to support their members and the local community, and they felt that reimagining the interior of the space would facilitate a greater sense of health, wellbeing, and belonging.

​​Taking inspiration from nature to evoke an inspiring wellbeing focus, redwah’s proposal featured a number of natural materials including timber and brick, alongside plants, both living and artificial, to create a more relaxed, balancing experience. Lighting also played an integral part in the concept – it was important to strike a balance of comfort, while also providing feature lighting zones to help break up the space and enhance the experience for gym members.
