The ArtHouse Hotel
Hotel Interior Design
Set within a heritage-listed building, patrons entering the ArtHouse are immediately transported to a bygone era by the inspiring architecture. Built as the home of the Sydney Mechanics School of Arts in 1836, the venue was converted into a hospitality premises and now offers a main bar experience and a considered courtyard area, both of which exist in harmony with the heritage elements of the building.
The bar was reconfigured and opened up to fully embrace the space and allow seamless interaction. New high-level banquet seating around the perimeter creates spectacular views of the entire space.
Redwah introduced a key feature element in the form of a central arched open metal frame, to help humanise the space, while new furniture throughout and acoustic wall panelling brought the space up to date with considered intent.
Creative metal structures layered with greenery frame the courtyard space, and the pop and pattern of the tiled floors bring a bright and welcome new beginning to The ArtHouse Hotel.
